My cousin Justin just enlightened me. I had seen them around but never gave them a chance. Now I’m hooked.

Working on something I’m extremely excited about…

We made it onto our 6pm standby! Along with our new friend Nastassja. This picture is blurry but I don’t care! We’re going home!

How often do you think someone strolls by one of these things on their way to a flight who just so happens to be in the market for a quick iPod or Nintento DSi? I think I’m going to go shake it and see if I can get a few digital cameras.

Dude what are the odds!? And you’re shorter than I thought.

We just landed in Houston. Might have to stay the night due to our delay in Miami. Also, it’s 34 degrees here. What the heck!? I thought Texas was hot.
UPDATE: We ended up getting a hotel. We had an 8:55am standby. We were number 9 and 10 on the list. The odds were against us. However, we got picked! We sat down. Then they called my name and told me I had to get off. Jessa was able to stay but she didn’t want to leave me alone. So we are on another standby at 6pm… we’re number 2 and 3 on the list so we will probably get on but there’s no guarantee. If that doesn’t pan out, then we have real tickets for 9pm… 12 hours in one of the crappiest airports I’ve ever been in is going to be pretty fun.

6-ish months as a vegetarian down the drain (not really)
A cruise is perhaps one of the hardest places to keep up with a vegetarian diet. There were very few vegetarian options on the menu, surrounded by 100 amazing meat focused dishes. I tried when I could, but I’m flesh and blood.
I’ll admit that it was quite tasty, but just like my pre veg days my stomach began to get upset and I just felt gross. It totally reminded me why I stopped in the first place.
There are a few advantages to eating meat. Mainly, you become less of a pain in the butt when eating out with other people. But that’s also it’s downfall. What I love about eating a vegetarian diet is that it ISN’T easy. You have to actually think about what you’re putting into your body.
