Shopping on Christmas Eve isn’t bad at all

I usually put off my shopping until today and every year I get people saying stupid stuff like “good luck! I would never go out on Christmas Eve” or something along those lines. I don’t get it… nothing is different or hard about it. As a matter of fact it’s better. People say Merry Christmas and everything feels really festive and happy. I guess I had to park a little further away but all the things I was looking for were there and I was even able to purchase them. Do people think it’s just a giant mob grabbing toys off shelves and fighting over things? I could understand if I was looking for a Turbo Man or something. But I wasn’t.

I don’t understand. Santa doesn’t have time to shop on Christmas Eve. I thought he was packing up the sleigh. All this is very confusing.
